“ 10/10 recommend the dark chocolate orange. Perfect little treat after a long day of travel - they've got a ton of options, so should be something for everyone! ”
“ Good gelato, nice flavors. I had the salted caramel peanut and it was good. But for my money, there are some better gelaterias in Rome. If you're looking to try a lot of different gelato from different gelaterias, this is worthy of a stop. ”
“ Amazing gelato! The salted caramel peanut was unbelievable. I am craving more and need to taste all the other flavors. ”
“ We were told this was the best Gelato in Rome. I can name a couple places I like better but this place is darn good. Don't hesitate to go to this place. ”
“ Solid gelateria in Rome. No line when we went. Pistachio had a nice roasted flavor. Also had the pear and ricotta was very good! It was super creamy and rich with nice chunks of pear that were great texture. ”
“ The fact alone that both the pistachio and lemon cream rice milk gelato and apple cinnamon sorbet stood out high above any other traditional milk-based gelato I'd tried in all of our three weeks ALL OVER Italy should tell you something about the quality of what's about to be in your cup/cone. I even used to be suspect that any one place could outdo another when it comes to a single menu item, but the quality and sourcing of ingredients is bar none and kept #local to Italy. It's a favorite of Bourdain, of me, and of most anyone who's been to Italy. The service is a bit cold and no-bullshit, but you gotta respect that at a tourist attraction who's product can't melt anyway. Note: It's somewhat sacrilege to get anything less than two flavors of gelato anywhere, and keep in mind that your potentially poor flavor pairings shouldn't dictate your review. Focus on flava flaveeee. ”
“ Literally the best gelateria in Italy- and Italy has the best gelato in the world generally- so in conclusion - this is the best gelato in the world! We learned of this place from the late great Anthony Bourdain, and boy did we love this gem. There are no words to describe the creaminess and intensity of the flavors. The pistachio is beyond out of this world- the best thing you'll ever eat. I'm also obsessed with the hazelnut and straciatella. The service is lovely, they have a few locations around rome, but the one on Gracchi st I think is the best :) MUST HAVE IN ROME!!! ”
“ They carry some of the most interesting flavor combos we'd ever come across. Caramel pear, pine nut cream, honey and rice - it was soooo tough for us to narrow down to these 3. And we weren't disappointed - they were all beyond delicious. Pear was refreshing, cream was nutty (had actual pine nuts folded within), the honey & rice was just perfect (the unique texture and balance of sweetness) - can I get another cup please to myself? ”
“ This was the best gelato place I've visited in Italy so far, and I've been to 4. The variety of flavors was awesome and they're beautifully displayed in the cases. They even have a WHOLE CASE of vegan options, made with soy. I opted for the lampone (raspberry) flavor, as well as one that I wasn't able to translate or identify, but was delicious and definitely vanilla based. I got I in a cup and it was served with whipped cream and a waffle cone wafer sticking out of the top. They also had an amazing pastry case! My family and I decided that we would go back to this exact place every night between now and when we leave Rome. Boring? Maybe. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it! And I could probably go there every night for a month and not repeat flavor selections! ”
